Non-Profits & Foundations

Non-profit executives spend their year proving value to people who were not in the room: funders, boards, members. The evidence usually exists; it is rarely structured so a committee can use it. We build the argument, with the numbers to hold it up.

Questions we hear

  • We need to justify a funding increase. What number can we actually defend?
  • Our board asks for 'impact'. What should we measure, and what should we stop measuring?
  • How do we tell our story to a funder without inflating it?
  • Our small team is drowning in reporting. Where can AI genuinely help, safely?
  • We have survey data from members. What does it say, and what should we do about it?

What we deliver

Economic impact reports
Local multipliers, displacement accounted for, one clearly defined job unit — and a narrative layer of interviews so the numbers have faces.
Funder and board briefs
Short, structured documents that answer the analyst's five questions before they are asked.
Right-sized measurement
A handful of outcome measures your team can collect every year, with a reusable model you own.
AI for lean teams
Small, purpose-built automations for reporting and intake, plus practical role-specific training on drafting and summarizing with AI, with clear rules for what data stays out of public tools.

Frequently asked questions

We have a small budget. Is this realistic?

Often, yes. Scopes are fixed and sized to the decision; a funder brief or a model refresh is a very different engagement from a full impact study. Ask, and we will tell you plainly.

Can the report be used in grant applications?

That is usually the point. Reports are written so the methodology section can be lifted directly into an application or annual report.

Will you help us present it?

Yes. Every engagement ends with a walkthrough, and we can join the board or funder meeting if that helps.
