Engagement model

How an engagement runs.

No sales team, no discovery workshop that turns into a proposal for another workshop. You talk to the person who will do the work, you get a written scope, and you get a document your leadership can decide from.

The five steps

  1. Step 1

    Discovery call

Thirty minutes on the decision you need to make, who needs to be convinced, and what evidence already exists. If we are not the right fit, we say so on this call.

  2. Step 2

    Scoping note

Within a few days you receive a one-to-two page note: the question we will answer, the deliverables, the timeline and what we need from your side. Nothing starts until you approve it.

  3. Step 3

    Evidence first

We gather and structure the data before forming a view. Weekly check-ins keep you informed; nothing is a surprise at the end. Assumptions are written down as we go.

  4. Step 4

    Committee-ready delivery

You receive the document, the underlying model and a walkthrough. Deliverables are built to be presented by you, in your meeting, without us in the room.

  5. Step 5

    Follow-through

A check-in after the decision meeting to answer the questions it raised, and a handover so your team can maintain the model or dashboard without us.

Engagement formats

Fixed-scope project

One question, one document, one scope agreed up front. The default for impact reports, decision briefs, dashboards and proofs of concept.

Advisory retainer

A set number of hours per month for leaders who need an analyst on call: briefs, model updates, board preparation.

Workshops and training

Half-day to multi-week programs on decision memos, dashboard design and practical AI use, delivered by role.

Typical timelines

Every scope is different, but these ranges hold for most engagements.

ServiceTypical durationNote
Custom AI solution6–12 weeksPhased; a working first version early, then hardening and handover.
Decision brief2–4 weeksFaster when the data already exists.
Economic impact report6–10 weeksDriven by primary data collection.
Strategy dashboard6–8 weeksIncludes KPI definition workshop and handover.
AI proof of concept4–6 weeksRubric agreed before testing starts.
AI readiness program8–10 weeksAssessment, role-based training, roadmap.

What we need from you

Engagements move at the speed of access. Three things make the difference:

  • One decision-maker who can answer questions within a couple of days.
  • Access to the data that exists, in whatever shape it is in. Messy is fine; missing is a finding.
  • Two to three hours of stakeholder time across the engagement for interviews or testing.

How we think about the work

Show the math
Every number has a source and every assumption is written down. If it cannot be defended in a footnote, it is not in the report.
One question at a time
A scope that tries to answer everything answers nothing. We narrow first, then go deep.
Built to hand over
Models, dashboards and playbooks are yours, documented so your team can run them without us.
Confidential by default
We do not name clients or disclose engagements without written permission.

Let's work on it together

No two problems arrive in the same shape, so we do not sell packages. Tell us what you are trying to decide, prove or fix, and we will tell you how we would approach it and what it would take. The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Do you publish your fees?

No. Every engagement is shaped around the problem you bring, so the honest answer starts with a conversation. Reach out, describe the issue, and we will work through the right approach together before anything is committed.

Who actually does the work?

Pamimo Akinjide, the firm's founder and principal. There is no handoff to junior staff. Specialist collaborators are brought in only with your agreement and named in the scoping note.

Can you work with confidential data?

Yes. We sign your NDA or provide ours, work inside your systems where required, and never move personal data into public AI tools. Data handling is described in every scoping note.

What if the scope changes mid-way?

It happens. We stop, write a one-paragraph change note with the impact on timeline and fee, and continue once you approve it.

Do you work with organizations outside Canada?

Yes. Most clients are Canadian, but the methods travel, and engagements run remotely across time zones.
