Capabilities

We operate at the intersection of practical AI, economic analysis and executive strategy. We do not do "general consulting." We solve specific, high-stakes problems, and we build what the solution needs.

AI Solutions

We build the AI systems your team will actually use, we evaluate the platforms vendors are pitching you on your own material, and we train your people to run what we hand over.

Discuss Requirements

Typical Deliverables

  • Custom agents, assistants and workflow automations on the platforms you already own (Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, APIs)
  • Knowledge and retrieval systems built on your own playbooks and precedents
  • Structured proofs of concept with a weighted scoring rubric and committee-ready findings
  • AI readiness assessments, adoption roadmaps and data-handling guardrails
  • Role-specific training and workshops, so the tools stay in use after we leave

Economic Impact & Evidence

Defensible impact studies, program evaluations and ranking methodologies, with the assumptions written where a funder's analyst will look for them.

Discuss Requirements

Typical Deliverables

  • Economic impact reports using Statistics Canada multipliers, net rather than gross figures
  • Program evaluation and funder briefs
  • Corporate ranking and scoring methodologies
  • A reusable model your own staff can refresh each year

Decision Briefs & Dashboards

Two-page briefs that lay out the context, the complication, the recommendation and the tradeoff, and the small set of live measures that tells leadership whether the plan is working.

Discuss Requirements

Typical Deliverables

  • Decision memos and one-pagers for councils, boards and partnerships
  • Tradeoff analysis and strategic planning support
  • KPI definition and Power BI or Tableau dashboards that flag risk and progress
  • Data pipelines and a maintenance playbook your team owns

Agri-Food Market Development (Asia-Pacific)

A separate practice for Canadian plant-protein and pulse ingredient suppliers: demand mapping, buyer qualification and supplier representation in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, India and Singapore.

Discuss Requirements

Typical Deliverables

  • Demand mapping by market and application
  • Formulator, importer and distributor outreach and qualification
  • Supplier representation: specs, samples, indicative pricing and certifications, through to a bench trial
  • Market-development programs and reporting for industry associations

Frequently asked questions

Do you build AI solutions, or only advise on them?

Both. We design and build custom AI agents, automations and tools on the platforms you already own (Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, APIs and hosted models), and we hand them over documented so your team can run them. Evaluation and training wrap around the build when they are needed.

What is the difference between a decision brief and a report?

A report describes; a decision brief recommends. Our briefs follow a fixed structure — the context, the complication, the recommendation and the tradeoff — so an executive can act in ten minutes rather than read for an hour.

How long does an economic impact report take?

Typically six to ten weeks, depending on how much primary data (surveys, supplier records) needs to be collected. A refresh of an existing model is much faster.

Do you build dashboards in the tools we already use?

Yes. We design in Power BI or Tableau and hand over the model, the data pipeline and a maintenance playbook so your own team can run it without us.

What does an AI readiness engagement involve?

A structured proof of concept that evaluates specific tools against a weighted rubric your committee sets, or a readiness assessment that maps workflows and produces an adoption roadmap. Both end with a document your leadership can decide from, and either can lead straight into a build.

Do you offer general management consulting?

No. We solve specific, high-stakes analytical and decision problems. If your question is outside that, we will say so on the first call and point you elsewhere.
